Business as being.

I've been figuring out how to make those three words true for the past several years.  There's been lots of shifting, and while that's been going on, I've been vague and quiet about the best ways I can serve you.  (And if any of you are entrepreneurial, and are trying to figure this out for yourself, the "magic formula" can be found at the intersection between your delight/expertise and the world's need/void.)

There is a lot of treasure to be found at that intersection.  Here's what I discovered there which, interestingly, is also what I have to "offer":

  • A new digital course that helps you get your mundane outer world to align with your (r)evolutionary inner world.
  • Direct, one-to-one sacred conversations to help you make those alignments.
  • A new weekly podcast -- launching Monday, February 3rd -- where we'll talk about things like "How can self-empathy eradicate B.S. from my life?" and other fringe topics that are only fringe because more of us haven't made our taste known.  With this podcast, I am making my taste known.  And, hopefully, it's one you've been craving.
QUESTION FOR YOU:  When you think about the media sources you get information from (even your favorite social media platforms) what is missing for you?  What do you want to see/hear that you can't seem to find?

Erika, I am overjoyed that we will get "more of you" in any form. "Business as being" says it all for me and as you know, I am not so quietly championing the cause through my own work. I would say, however (in response to your question), that I am not seeing enough examples of people who are demonstrating what business as being looks like.

Surrender, allowance and being are words that are not commonly used with regard to business and yet I know that it's what we're being called to.

So, in a nutshell, I would love to see a slew of poster children, i.e working professionals who actually embody this way of "being" in business rise up to say, "this is what it looks like, this is how it's working for me and this is how you too can consciously choose this space".

Please stay on your path and continue to be shiny and brilliant. We need you. :-) P.S.

Monica, thank you for your wonderful work in the world! And thank you for sharing your observations. They chilled my spine.

Just late last night, I came across "a slew of poster children" who might fit what you describe (?) ---> http://creativemoney.biz/2014/01/27/get-moneyrebel-mag-entrepreneurs/

For me, "business as being" came as a highly inconvenient desire several years ago. As a self-employed freelance writer + coach, I reached a point of inconsolable dissatisfaction. I will always cherish 1:1 sacred conversations with people, but being paid to write ON BEHALF OF SOMEONE ELSE got more and more difficult. Arranging words on behalf of a client/biz/organization morphed into an impossible task because I was being drawn to organize + express MY OWN words + vision. Which gives rise to the question, "Is there a paying market/sponsor for my heart's true expression?"

We shall see :-)

I need your presence "in the arena" (per Brene Brown), Monica. You make things warm and golden. XO
